TWO. Art Brut in the Giacosa-Ferraiuolo collection.

The exhibition “A Due. Art Brut in the Giacosa-Ferraiuolo collection "offers an in-depth study of Art Brut , a notion created by the French artist Jean Dubuffet in 1945 to indicate an art that originates from the artist's intimate need, free from reference models, stylistic features and academic paths.

On display, about thirty artists among the most representative of this artistic current satellite to the history of art.

Among the artists exhibited, unaware of the rules of aesthetics as much as of the laws of the market, we find some discovered by Dubuffet himself, such as Aloïse Corbaz and Carlo Zinelli, alongside more recent discoveries such as Franco Bellucci and Giovanni Galli.
