A proposito dell'evento

Orazio Maione was born in Naples and established himself at a very young age as a winner of national and international piano competitions. His training had in his mother, Annamaria Pennella and in Aldo Ciccolini and Nikita Magaloff his points of reference. He made his debut at the age of twenty at the San Carlo Theater in Naples and later performed concerts for some of the major Italian musical institutions, as a soloist, chamber musician and with important symphonic institutions (Amici della Musica di Perugia and Palermo, Società del Quartetto and Verdi Orchestra of Milan, Philharmonic Academy and IUC of Rome, Teatro Lirico of Cagliari). In 1986, at the age of 23, he won the third edition of the prestigious international piano competition in Pretoria (South Africa). Abroad he has been a guest of institutions such as the Louvre and Chatelet theaters in Paris and for concerts in St. John's Smith Square in London. He has made recordings for Italian and foreign broadcasting companies and for the record label IMP Classic, England.
